Valerie Figueroa Diaz helps children, adolescents, teens, and young adults navigate emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges through comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluation services. At LifeStance Health, she serves patients across New Hampshire, providing thoughtful assessments that help clarify diagnoses, identify strengths, and guide treatment planning. Valerie works with individuals experiencing ADHD, anxiety, childhood behavior issues, and other concerns that may affect academic performance, relationships, and overall well-being. A significant focus of Valerie’s work is psychological and neuropsychological testing for children and adolescents. She is passionate about helping families better understand cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns through evidence-based assessment. By gathering detailed information and providing clear, actionable feedback, she helps patients and caregivers gain a deeper understanding of challenges and opportunities for growth. Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and centered on supporting meaningful progress. Valerie also has experience evaluating concerns related to depression, PTSD and trauma, as well as additional emotional and behavioral conditions. Through psychological testing, she strives to provide accurate insights that can help inform educational planning, treatment recommendations, and long-term support strategies. She understands that pursuing an evaluation can feel overwhelming and works to create a welcoming environment where patients and families feel heard and respected throughout the process. In addition to her clinical work, Valerie is able to provide services in Spanish, helping broaden access to mental health and assessment services for Spanish-speaking individuals and families. Valerie earned her education at Carlos Albizu University in San Juan, where she developed a strong foundation in psychological assessment and evidence-based mental health care. Outside of work, Valerie enjoys hiking, swimming, playing volleyball, and spending quality time with her family. These activities help her maintain balance and reinforce the importance of connection, wellness, and resilience.
