Robert Valentin, MD,
About Robert Valentin (He/Him)
Robert Valentin helps children, adolescents, teens, and adults find relief from mental health challenges through personalized psychiatric care and evidence-based treatment. Serving patients across Florida through LifeStance Health, he provides medication management and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) while partnering closely with patients and families to develop treatment plans that support lasting emotional wellness. His approach is compassionate, practical, and focused on helping individuals achieve meaningful improvements in daily functioning and quality of life. Dr. Valentin has a special interest in working with individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. He understands that the transition from inpatient care back to everyday life can be a vulnerable time, requiring consistent support, careful monitoring, and coordinated treatment. He helps patients build stability, reduce the risk of relapse, and continue progressing toward recovery through thoughtful psychiatric care and ongoing treatment planning. His clinical practice includes treating ADHD, anxiety, and depression, along with a wide range of additional mental health conditions. He works with children, adolescents, teens, and adults experiencing concerns such as school-related difficulties, trauma-related symptoms, mood disorders, life transitions, and other behavioral or emotional challenges. In addition to medication management, he offers Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), an innovative treatment option for certain mental health conditions. At LifeStance Health, Dr. Valentin values creating a supportive environment where patients and families feel respected, informed, and engaged in the treatment process. He recognizes that every individual’s story is unique and believes effective psychiatric care begins with understanding each person’s strengths, circumstances, and goals. Dr. Valentin earned his medical education from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and has continued to build his expertise in mental health care through advanced training and clinical practice. His dedication to helping patients navigate complex mental health concerns is reflected in his patient-centered approach. Outside of work, he enjoys sports, playing the guitar, and spending time with family and friends. These interests help him maintain balance and reinforce the importance of meaningful connections and personal well-being. Patients throughout Florida seeking psychiatric treatment for ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns can work with Dr. Valentin to create a path toward greater stability and wellness. Whether through medication management, TMS, or a comprehensive treatment strategy, he is committed to helping patients move forward with confidence.
