Nicholas Chen helps adults and older adults across Georgia navigate complex mental health challenges with a thoughtful, evidence-based approach that combines psychiatric expertise, medication management, and individualized treatment planning. As a prescriber at LifeStance Health, he works with patients experiencing conditions such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and anxiety, helping them build stability, improve daily functioning, and achieve long-term wellness. A significant focus of Dr. Chen’s practice is the treatment of bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Before entering clinical practice, Dr. Chen completed his education at the Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of Louisville, experiences that helped shape his analytical and patient-focused approach to psychiatric care. Outside of work, Dr. Chen enjoys staying active through pickleball, volleyball, and running. He also enjoys movies, reading books, PC gaming, and spending time with cats. These interests help him maintain balance and bring curiosity and connection into his work with patients.
