Dr. Christopher Reggi, M.D.,
About Dr. Christopher Reggi (He/Him)
Dr. Christopher Reggi helps adults throughout New York gain greater stability, clarity, and confidence in managing mental health challenges through comprehensive psychiatric care and medication management. As a physician at LifeStance Health, he partners with patients to create individualized treatment plans that address both symptoms and long-term wellness goals. His clinical interests include ADHD, anxiety, and depression, while also treating a broad range of additional psychiatric conditions and concerns. A particular focus of Dr. Reggi’s work is supporting individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. He understands that this transition can be one of the most vulnerable periods in a person’s mental health journey. Through attentive follow-up care, medication management, and ongoing support, he helps patients maintain progress, strengthen recovery, and successfully reintegrate into their daily lives. His approach emphasizes continuity of care, practical treatment strategies, and building a strong foundation for lasting stability. Dr. Reggi values collaboration and believes that effective psychiatric treatment begins with listening and understanding each patient’s unique experiences. He works with adults from diverse backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, military veterans, and first responders. In addition to medication management, he provides treatment for substance use concerns and offers care for a variety of other mental health conditions beyond his primary areas of focus. He earned his medical education from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science after completing undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Since entering practice, he has been dedicated to delivering evidence-based psychiatric treatment that combines clinical excellence with compassion and respect for every individual. Outside of work, Dr. Reggi enjoys traveling, cruising, exploring Italian food and culture, attending musicals, watching Survivor, and playing video games. These interests help him maintain balance and bring curiosity and connection into his interactions with patients.
