Dr. Walkup is competent, knowledgeable and really listens. He has a pleasant professional manner and stays focused. Before the end of the visit he always asks if I have any questions. I never feel rushed or pressured to hurry up. The office staff are polite and helpful when I go in but I also am able to do virtual visits-also very helpful. I recommend him 💯%!

I was referred to Dr.Walkup from my previous counselor. This has been a really hard year and I was hesitant about seeing him because I know there’s a difference a difference in having a therapist and a psychiatrist. Yet Dr Walkup still listened and showed empathy to my challenges and I pray I’m able to get through this phase in my life.

Dr. Walkup is so kind and patient and helpful! No matter what kind of mood I’m in or what my problem is he always listens so patiently with kindness and makes me feel important and validates my feelings. Don’t know what I’d do without him! He’s honest with me and doesn’t sugar coat anything and I like that about him.

I love it here. I feel like my clinician know and understand me. I can be fully transparent so that I can get the proper help without judgement. Dr. Walkup is an extremely professional and down to earth Psychiatrist who gets you and works hard to make sure you feel better. I wouldn’t want anyone else.

Dr. Walkup is an incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, caring and compassionate doctor. It is nice when your doctor comes and grabs you from the waiting room, it brings an extra level of comfort. The office staff are also welcoming and knowledgeable.
