Psychologist and Therapist in Portland, Maine Donna Hastings, Psychologist

Dr. Hastings is a clinical psychologist, licensed in Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts and registered in Florida. Therefore, she is able to work with persons via telehealth in those states. Her application for PSYPACT is in process. This will enable her to work via telehealth in over thirty states. She has spent most of her professional life in a private practice in New Hampshire. She moved in 2019 to Maine in order to be closer to family. She has a broad experience, working with all ages in a variety of settings. She currently works primarily with senior citizens, veterans, first responders, and military active duty personnel. Since the COVID pandemic she has worked only via telehealth. Issues with which she helps individuals cope include anxiety, depression, family relationships, addictions, PTSD, ADHD, work/life balance, life crisis events, and work stress. Dr. Hastings is a firm believer in giving back to her community. She has been a American Red Cross Disaster Mental Health Volunteer for over 30 years and has responded to many national disasters. To provide work/life balance in her life she plays a clarinet in a local community band. Her Border Collie/Sheltie mix therapy dog, Tux joins her in her volunteer activities.
