Dr. Hastings is a clinical psychologist, licensed in Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. She is authorized through PSYPACT to do psychotherapy via telehealth in 39 additional states. This is helpful for snow birds, college students who attend school in a non-resident state, and persons who move. Since the COVID pandemic she has worked only via telehealth.

She has spent most of her professional life in a private practice in New Hampshire, moving in 2019 to Maine in order to be closer to family. She has a broad experience, working with all ages in a variety of settings. She currently works primarily with senior citizens, college students, veterans, first responders, and military active duty personnel.

Issues with which she helps individuals cope include anxiety, depression, family relationships, addictions, PTSD, ADHD, work/life balance, life crisis events, and work stress.

Dr. Hastings is a firm believer in giving back to her community. She has been a American Red Cross Disaster Mental Health Volunteer for over 30 years and has responded to many national disasters. To provide work/life balance in her life she plays a clarinet in a local community band.
