About Lori Tirado (She/Her)
Lori Tirado helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults navigate emotional, behavioral, and life challenges with a thoughtful, evidence-based approach tailored to each individual’s needs. Through her work with LifeStance Health, she provides therapy and psychological testing services for patients across Maine, supporting those who are seeking greater clarity, resilience, and emotional well-being. Lori works with a wide range of concerns, with particular expertise in anxiety, ADHD, and depression, while also offering support for additional mental health conditions and life transitions. A significant focus of Lori’s practice is helping children, teens, and families address challenges that affect success at home, in school, and in relationships. She has extensive experience working with ADHD, childhood behavior issues, and school avoidance, helping young people build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and improve daily functioning. Lori partners closely with parents and caregivers to create practical strategies that support healthy development and lasting progress. Lori believes that effective mental health care begins with understanding each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals. She incorporates interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and family therapy to help patients develop healthier thought patterns, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen relationships. In addition to therapy, she offers psychological testing to provide valuable insights that can guide diagnosis, treatment planning, and personal growth. With years of clinical experience as a licensed psychologist, Lori works with individuals facing concerns such as grief, trauma, bipolar disorder, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions, including midlife and later-life changes. She strives to create a supportive and collaborative environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Lori earned her education from Palo Alto University, Pacific Graduate School of Psychology. Her professional approach blends clinical expertise with genuine compassion, allowing her to meet patients where they are and help them move toward their goals with confidence. Outside of her professional work, Lori enjoys gardening, walking, reading, and painting. These personal interests reflect her appreciation for creativity, balance, and lifelong learning. Patients throughout Maine who are looking for therapy, psychological testing, ADHD support, anxiety treatment, depression counseling, or family-focused mental health care can benefit from Lori’s compassionate and individualized approach. She is committed to helping people of all stages of life build the skills and insight needed to thrive.
