Dr. Orifici earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology and a Master of Science in Counseling and Human Relations at Villanova University in Pennsylvania. Upon graduation, she worked for several years in an inpatient hospital setting and then a day treatment center before obtaining her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) at the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology in 1997. During her graduate training, Dr. Orifici completed five years of supervised clinical work in a variety of outpatient settings before joining The Counseling Center (now LIfeStance Health) in 1999. Dr. Orifici is licensed to practice as a clinical psychologist in the state of New Hampshire. She enjoys providing individual and group therapy for adults and has a special interest in working with couples struggling with relationship issues. Her style is interactive and she strives to provide a safe, comfortable, non-judgmental environment for her clients in order to promote healing and personal growth. Her areas of expertise include treating anxiety, depression, attention deficit disorders, childhood trauma, and stress-related problems as well as relationship and parenting difficulties. Utilizing an integrative, collaborative approach to treatment, Dr. Orifici draws on her clients’ strengths to help them overcome life challenges. She incorporates the use of many different treatment strategies in order to tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs, while helping her clients develop coping strategies to manage troubling symptoms and improve overall functioning and life satisfaction.
