Louis Turchetta, Ed.D, Psychologist in Warwick, Rhode Island

Dr. Lou Turchetta is a psychologist with more than 35 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults who struggle with anxiety and depression. Lou uses an evidenced based, eclectic approach which focuses on helping people to understand themselves and find a better path to a fulfilling lifestyle. In addition, he brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to his couples counseling. As a certified Gottman Couples Therapist and EFT trained psychologist, he brings these evidence-based treatments to his work with couples. In his free time, he enjoys bike riding, music, travel, studying Italian and spending time with family. Lou is a graduate of Boston University with a master’s degree and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in School Psychology and a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology. He is licensed as a psychologist in Massachusetts and Rhode Island and is a long-standing member of the National Register of Health Insurance Providers in Psychology. the American Psychological Association as well as the National Association of School Psychologists.
