Dr. Malley has provided consultative, evaluative, therapeutic, school and home-based intervention services to children and families impacted by Autism, developmental and learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders. She has developed and consulted with an array of school-based programs for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders, emotional, and behavioral disorders. She has also provided individual, group, and family-based counseling to those with autism and other developmental disabilities. Dr. Malley’s graduate training includes evaluation and treatment/intervention planning for children displaying a complex array of medical, mental health, and learning challenges. Training settings include: hospitals, clinics, schools, and community settings, including providing in-home ABA therapy for children and assisting disabled young adults transition into independence. Throughout her graduate years, Dr. Malley was extensively involved in federally funded research focusing on school processes and assessment practices needed to develop evidence-based interventions for students. For more than 15 years, Dr. Malley has worked closely with families and children ranging in age from four to young adulthood. She has provided assessments across this age span linking diagnosis to evidence-based and practical recommendations. She views assessment as a process for identifying strengths as well as disabilities of youth addressing health, learning/education, and information to access the appropriate resources (early intervention, general and special education intervention/resources, transition services, adult disability resources). In addition to working at Lifestance, Dr. Malley serves at a nearby school district performing a variety of services for individuals, families, teams, classrooms, schools, and district. Jessica Malley, PhD, NCSP is a licensed psychologist and nationally certified school psychologist. She received her master’s degree in child clinical and doctorate in educational psychology from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. She has extensive experience working with children diagnosed with Autism and a range of related developmental disabilities.
