Dr. Banks is a clinical psychologist who has been in private practice since 1989. She completed her Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and her clinical internship at Rush- Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago. She was previously President/Clinic Director of Health Psychology Associates. Dr. Banks coordinated and practiced in the Insomnia Program of the Sleep Disorders Clinic at St. Luke's Medical Center, and has consulted with various hospital departments.
