Rose Sweeney, MSW, LCSW
Rose Sweeney is a Mental Health Therapist, who has been practicing since 2018. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in social work and then attended Ohio State University where she earned a master’s degree in Social Work as well.
Rose utilizes Behavioral Learning Theory as well Mindfulness based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy as approaches when working with patients. Rose’s approach to care is to meet the identified needs of her patients, whether that is processing trauma, learning healthy coping skills, learning to manage feelings and emotions, or other identified areas that patients individually struggle with. Rose recognizes that human needs include emotional needs and can assist with psychoeducation for patients to learn and understand their experiences more clearly. Her main areas of focus include treating Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD, but has a vast experience with many other mental health diagnosis’
In her spare time, Rose enjoys creating art through design, traveling, and spending time with friends. Rose often spends time with her partner of 5 years and her two cats, Beatrix and Dexter. She loves meeting new people of all walks of life and different backgrounds as she sees differences as a strength and benefit to society as a whole.
