Vanessa Brewley, MSW, LCSW,
About Vanessa Brewley (She/Her)
Vanessa Brewley helps adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion, insight, and evidence-based care. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at LifeStance Health, she provides therapy for patients throughout Florida, creating a supportive environment where individuals and families can explore concerns, build resilience, and work toward meaningful personal growth. Her approach is collaborative, helping patients develop practical strategies to improve emotional well-being and strengthen their relationships.
Vanessa has extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also supporting individuals facing challenges related to bipolar disorder, grief, life transitions, and substance use concerns. She provides both individual therapy and family therapy, tailoring treatment to each person’s unique needs and goals. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), she helps patients gain new perspectives, develop healthy coping skills, and create lasting change. She also offers additional therapeutic approaches to support a wide range of mental health concerns.
A particular area of passion for Vanessa is helping individuals affected by alcohol and drug use issues. She understands how substance use can impact every aspect of a person’s life, including emotional health, relationships, and overall functioning. Through a nonjudgmental and supportive approach, she works with patients to identify patterns, strengthen motivation for change, develop healthier coping strategies, and move toward recovery and long-term wellness.
Since beginning her clinical practice in 2015, Vanessa has worked with people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. Her commitment to providing thoughtful, personalized care is grounded in helping each patient feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
Outside of her professional work, Vanessa enjoys shopping and values opportunities to recharge, explore new interests, and maintain balance in her own life.
Whether someone is seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use concerns, or significant life transitions, Vanessa is dedicated to helping patients across Florida achieve meaningful progress and improved mental health.
