Karlette D’Aguiar is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Florida State Qualified Supervisor with over ten years of practice. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York, College at Oneonta and a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from Howard University.

Karlette offers a compassionate, non-judgmental, therapeutic environment where those seeking mental and emotional healing can feel welcomed and safe as they take that initial step toward becoming a stronger, more whole person. Using a trauma-informed perspective, Karlette partners with her clients, while all the while eliciting those strengths that may lie dormant within them.

Karlette works from a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) treatment model helping clients to understand how thoughts and actions can influence emotions relating to self-esteem, adjustment disorders, anger, stress and other emotional and life challenges.

In her free time, Karlette enjoys being with her family and dog, taking long walks, and the occasional road trip.
