Morgan Langer, MSW,
About Morgan Langer (She/Her)
Morgan Langer helps adults throughout Illinois gain clarity, build resilience, and develop practical strategies for navigating life’s challenges. At LifeStance Health, she provides compassionate, individualized mental health care for adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Morgan believes that meaningful progress begins with a strong therapeutic relationship, and she works collaboratively with each client to create a treatment plan that reflects their unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Morgan has a special interest in helping individuals navigate major life transitions and relationship challenges. Whether clients are adjusting to changes in family dynamics, exploring identity development, managing the stress of midlife transitions, or working through difficulties within a partnership, she provides a supportive space for growth and self-discovery. She understands that periods of change can bring uncertainty, and she helps clients develop healthy coping skills and greater confidence as they move forward. Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and couples counseling techniques, Morgan tailors treatment to each individual’s needs. In addition to working with concerns related to anxiety, depression, and ADHD, she also has experience supporting clients with trauma-related concerns and other emotional and behavioral challenges. Her practice includes individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and group therapy, allowing her to support clients in a variety of settings. Morgan has received training in Theraplay, an attachment-based and interactive approach that helps strengthen parent-child relationships from early childhood through adolescence. She is also trained in the Sunshine Circle model, which focuses on building emotional co-regulation skills and fostering healthier connections within families. These specialized approaches reflect her commitment to helping individuals and families develop stronger relationships and lasting emotional well-being. Her educational background includes studies at Kankakee Community College and Governors State University. As a social worker, Morgan is dedicated to ongoing learning and bringing clinically informed, person-centered care to every client she serves. Outside of her clinical work, Morgan enjoys reading fantasy novels and has a growing home library. She is an enthusiastic fan of author Sarah J. Maas, whose writing played a meaningful role during a challenging period in her life. Morgan also enjoys traveling, especially to Cape Cod, spending time with her boyfriend, playing video games, and caring for her two miniature dachshunds.
