Alice Pierce, MA, LCPC,
About Alice Pierce (She/Her)
Alice Pierce, LCPC, helps children, adolescents, teens, and adults throughout Illinois navigate emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges with compassion, clinical expertise, and individualized care. At LifeStance Health, she provides individual and family therapy for clients seeking support with anxiety, depression, and trauma, while also helping individuals build practical skills for long-term emotional wellness. Alice is committed to creating a welcoming and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. Alice has a strong passion for working with children, teens, and families facing behavioral, emotional, and school-related difficulties. She frequently helps young people experiencing childhood behavior issues, school avoidance, and ADHD-related challenges that can affect academic performance, relationships, and self-esteem. By partnering closely with clients and their families, she helps identify obstacles, strengthen coping strategies, and foster healthy development during important stages of growth. Her treatment approach is tailored to each individual’s unique needs and goals. Alice integrates evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to help clients gain insight, improve emotional regulation, and develop effective coping skills. In addition to her primary areas of focus, she provides support for a broad range of mental health concerns and emotional challenges. Alice works with school-aged children, adolescents, teens, and adults. She has experience helping clients manage anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related concerns, and other emotional difficulties that can interfere with daily functioning, relationships, and overall quality of life. Her therapeutic style emphasizes trust, collaboration, and practical solutions that help clients build resilience and confidence. Outside of her clinical work, Alice enjoys crafting, reading, and spending time outdoors on nature walks. These interests reflect her appreciation for creativity, mindfulness, and maintaining balance, values that also influence her approach to mental health and well-being.
