Margaret Ingram brings more than 15 years of experience in individual therapy, group therapy, and psychoeducation for adults primarily in outpatient clinical settings, as well as addiction recovery IOP/PHP programs.

Margaret blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness techniques, as well as Recovery principles in treating clients coping with a variety of Anxiety disorders, Low Self-Esteem, Career Difficulties, and Life Transitions. She is committed to addressing self-sabotaging beliefs and behaviors which impact relationships with self and others, and attainment of life goals. She shares, “My approach is collaborative, curious, and grounded in respect. Many of the struggles we face – anxiety, relationship difficulties, communication challenges, feeling stuck, or disconnection from purpose – emerge when we’ve lost connection with our authentic selves. Together, we’ll create a safe as well as energizing therapeutic space to discover and nurture your unique way of being in the world.”

Other areas addressed include Couples Therapy

She received a Master of Social Work degree from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and her bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University.

In her free time, Margaret enjoys dinners with friends, supporting favorite live performers, and exploring new parts of the country.
