Alyssa Moss, LSW, believes in creating an open, comfortable, and understanding environment where clients can find the healing, courage, and hope they desire. Alyssa received a BSW from Lewis University and an MSW from Aurora University. She was formerly an ABA therapist for children on the Autism Spectrum, and also has experience working with children and adolescents through individual therapy and family therapy. While Alyssa integrates a variety of clinical approaches to meet the needs of her clients, she enjoys utilizing Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Play and Expressive therapies, Solution-Focused and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. Alyssa’s approach is to help clients identify areas of strength and access resources from within themselves and their larger communities to benefit their treatment.
