Welcome to your journey toward living life to your full potential and becoming your best self! I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience, holding a graduate degree in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling from Columbia College Chicago. I bring a unique approach to therapy by integrating creative arts, particularly dance and movement, to help deepen the verbal connection and insight with my clients. For some, this may mean exploring movement during sessions, while others may prefer to engage in traditional talk therapy—each approach is tailored to the individual’s comfort level and desire for self-expression.
In my work, I draw from a variety of counseling theories, including client-centered, strengths-based, and cognitive behavioral therapies, always with a trauma-focused lens. I believe in the power of identifying and building upon strengths, rather than focusing on deficits. This perspective informs not only my work with clients but also my personal development and relationships with my children, family, and friends.
Whether working with youth or adults, I prioritize building strong, trusting relationships with my clients. I meet each individual holistically—body, mind, and spirit—and understand that everyone has basic human wants and needs they are striving to fulfill. My main goal is to help clients access their internal resiliency, especially in times of stress, life transitions, or trauma. I firmly believe that everyone has the capacity to tap into their healthy, resilient self and lead a fulfilling, happy life.
