Sarah Andreotta, LCSW, helps adults across Maine navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clinical expertise, and a practical approach to healing. As a therapist at LifeStance Health, she works with individuals seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional concerns that may be affecting their relationships, well-being, or daily functioning. Since beginning her clinical practice in 2011, Sarah has been dedicated to creating a supportive environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Sarah is particularly passionate about helping individuals struggling with substance use disorders, mood disorders, and women’s issues. She understands the complex emotional, behavioral, and relational factors that can contribute to these concerns and tailors treatment to each person’s unique experiences and goals. Her approach emphasizes building resilience, strengthening coping skills, and fostering long-term recovery and emotional wellness. In her work with adults, Sarah also provides support for concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, PTSD and trauma, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, postpartum depression and anxiety, and alcohol and drug use issues. She has experience working with diverse populations, including first responders and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Sarah utilizes evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based approaches, while incorporating additional therapeutic techniques when appropriate. Sarah earned her education from Boston College and Vanderbilt University. Her therapeutic style is collaborative, thoughtful, and goal-oriented, helping patients develop greater insight, emotional balance, and confidence as they move forward. Outside of her clinical work, Sarah enjoys being a mom, reading, and spending time hiking outdoors. These personal interests help her maintain balance and bring a grounded perspective to her work with patients.
