Julie Marie Hahnke, MSW, LICSW,
About Julie Marie Hahnke (She/Her)
Julie Hahnke, LICSW, helps children, adolescents, and teens throughout Minnesota develop the skills and confidence needed to overcome emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at LifeStance Health, she creates a supportive environment where young people and their families can work through difficulties, strengthen relationships, and build lasting resilience. Julie provides individual therapy for concerns such as anxiety, ADHD, and depression, while also helping young clients navigate school avoidance and childhood behavioral challenges. She understands that every child is unique and tailors treatment to meet each family’s specific needs and goals. Julie is especially passionate about supporting children and teens who are struggling with anxiety, ADHD, and school-related concerns. She recognizes how emotional distress, attention difficulties, and challenges in the classroom can affect a young person’s confidence, friendships, family relationships, and overall well-being. By partnering closely with both youth and caregivers, she helps identify practical strategies that encourage growth, emotional regulation, and success at home, in school, and in daily life. Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, encouraging, and grounded in evidence-based care. Julie utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), parenting skills support, and faith-based counseling approaches when appropriate to help families better understand challenges and develop effective solutions. While she has particular expertise in anxiety, ADHD, and childhood behavior concerns, she also supports adolescents facing depression and other emotional or developmental difficulties. Julie earned her degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is committed to ongoing professional development and providing compassionate, high-quality mental health care for children, adolescents, and their families. Outside of her clinical work, Julie enjoys hiking, crafting, and spending time with her family. These activities help her maintain balance and reflect the importance she places on connection, creativity, and personal well-being.
