About Rachael Romnek (She/Her)
Rachael Romnek, LICSW, helps children, adolescents, and teens throughout Minnesota build skills, resilience, and confidence as they navigate emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. At LifeStance Health, she provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy tailored to each young person’s needs, working closely with families to create meaningful and lasting change. Her approach emphasizes collaboration, understanding, and practical strategies that support growth both at home and in everyday life. Rachael is especially experienced in helping young people facing ADHD, anxiety, and childhood behavior issues, while also supporting individuals managing concerns such as depression, grief, trauma, bipolar disorder, gender identity exploration, women’s issues, and health-related psychological challenges. She understands that every child and family has a unique story and works to create a supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. She offers individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy, along with additional therapeutic services designed to meet a variety of mental health needs. A particular focus of Rachael’s work is supporting children, teens, and families affected by adoption and foster care experiences. She is passionate about helping young people navigate attachment concerns, transitions, identity development, relationship challenges, and the emotional impacts that can accompany foster care and adoption journeys. Through family-centered care and therapeutic support, she helps strengthen connections, improve communication, and foster healthy emotional development. Rachael values building authentic therapeutic relationships and believes that meaningful progress happens when clients feel safe and understood. Her style balances warmth and empathy with clinically informed interventions, including family therapy techniques that encourage healthier interactions and stronger support systems. Outside of her clinical work, Rachael enjoys paddle boarding, biking, camping, hiking, and reading. These activities help her stay connected to the importance of balance, wellness, and spending time in nature.
