Kayla Rivard, LCMHC, LCPC,
About Kayla Rivard (She/Her)
Kayla Rivard helps teens, adults, and older adults across New Hampshire navigate life’s challenges with compassion, practicality, and evidence-based care. As a therapist at LifeStance Health, she works alongside individuals facing anxiety, depression, and ADHD while helping them build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful change. Through individual therapy, Kayla provides a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward. Kayla is especially passionate about helping people through major life transitions and periods of personal growth. Whether someone is navigating later life transitions, midlife changes, or the emotional impact of postpartum depression and anxiety, she understands how overwhelming these experiences can feel. Her approach focuses on helping patients regain confidence, develop healthier perspectives, and identify practical tools that support long-term emotional wellness. She believes that with the right support, individuals can adapt to new circumstances while maintaining a strong sense of purpose and self-worth. Using approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Kayla tailors treatment to each person’s unique needs and goals. She has experience supporting teens, adults, older adults, first responders, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. In addition to her work with anxiety, depression, and ADHD, she offers support for concerns including grief, bipolar disorder, alcohol and drug use issues, women’s issues, and other mental health challenges. Kayla earned her education through Southern New Hampshire University and has been committed to helping individuals improve their emotional well-being through personalized, evidence-based mental health care. Outside of her clinical work, Kayla enjoys spending quality time with her two children and creating lasting memories through new adventures. She loves riding ATVs, swimming, and seeking adrenaline-filled experiences like roller coasters. An avid animal lover, she also enjoys caring for her small farm, which includes goats, ducks, chickens, and three yellow Labrador retrievers. Time spent outdoors with her family and animals is one of her greatest joys. Patients throughout New Hampshire seeking therapy for anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, postpartum mental health concerns, and other behavioral health needs can find a trusted partner in Kayla’s thoughtful and collaborative approach to care.
