Specializes In:
Rachel Henderson helps adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults throughout New Hampshire navigate emotional challenges, build resilience, and develop practical skills for lasting change. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy in a supportive, collaborative environment where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered. Rachel works with a wide range of concerns and has experience helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, and ADHD, while also supporting clients facing additional mental health and life challenges. Rachel is especially passionate about working with adolescents and teens who are struggling with childhood behavior issues, school avoidance, and the impact these concerns can have on academic performance, family relationships, and self-confidence. She partners closely with young people and their families to identify barriers to success, strengthen coping strategies, and create realistic pathways toward growth and improved well-being. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based care and tailored to each client’s unique needs. Rachel incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and parenting skills interventions to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. She believes meaningful progress happens when therapy is both compassionate and practical, giving clients tools they can use in everyday life. Rachel has been practicing since 2021 and is committed to creating a welcoming space where clients can explore challenges, celebrate strengths, and work toward personal goals. She also has experience supporting individuals involved in adoption and foster care and provides care across multiple stages of life, from adolescence through older adulthood. In addition to the areas highlighted above, she treats a variety of mental health concerns and offers additional therapeutic support based on each client’s needs. Outside of her clinical work, Rachel enjoys coaching youth sports, playing hockey and lacrosse, spending time with her children, and sport photography. These interests reflect her appreciation for teamwork, perseverance, connection, and personal growth.
