She works with patients who experience anxiety, depression, family stresses, and issues by providing a safe space for exploring and working through grief and loss issues as well as other roadblocks in life. Susan utilizes an eclectic approach to treatment including cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed practices such as EMDR. As a psychotherapist for over 35 years, Susan has also worked in multiple settings including outpatient, inpatient and administrative positions. Her first love is working with people to help achieve their best selves, as well as working to enhance the ways that systems function. Her clinical training is based in psychodynamic psychology, family systems, cognitive behavioral treatment, and trauma-based interventions. Clients work with Susan to develop an individualized treatment plan and goals that form the road map for your work together. Susan is a lifelong learner and equestrian with a passion for Dressage.
