Heidi Schlenz is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New Hampshire who has been practicing since 2021. She has an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Plymouth State University and a BS in Psychology from Brigham Young University Idaho. When working with clients, Heidi builds trust and rapport with them early on in the counseling process. She provides a welcoming environment in which children and adolescents can express their concerns and process their emotions and problems effectively. Heidi brings experience working with children and adolescents who have anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and eating disorders, among others. She also incorporates play therapy techniques in sessions according to client preference, which can provide space for clients to articulate their needs in a manner different from traditional talk therapy. Heidi loves working with children and teens and maintaining a therapeutic relationship to help them learn how to make meaningful changes and improvements in their lives. In her spare time, Heidi loves hiking, spending time with friends and family, watching movies, cooking, and hanging out with her two cats.
