Judith Duclair received her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, and her Masters degree in Counseling at Barry University in Miami, Fl with dual concentrations in Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family therapy. While she was obtaining her Masters Degree, she completed an internship program at Ft. Lauderdale Hospital where she on an adolescent psychiatric unit conducting biopsychosocial assessments, facilitating psychoeducational groups, and conducting family therapy. Judith has extensive experience in working in the child welfare system, including case management services as well as individual and family therapy to families involved in the child dependency system. She has also worked in the juvenile justice system providing services to teens participating in a diversion program for first time offenses. Through this program, she provided individual and group substance abuse treatment, and provided parenting classes to the parents of the teens involved in the program. Judith Duclair is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor as well as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She has a varied background working with diverse cultures and client struggles, and has a particular interest is working with clients and families struggling with alcohol and drug abuse. She also has experience working with teens and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, family conflict, anger management and parenting challenges. Judith integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Client Centered Therapy in her clinical work to help people address personal challenges and make lasting change.
