In 2018 Tammy received a certification as a health coach from the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute. Tammy has over 15 years’ experience working as an Outpatient Clinician providing individual therapy, group therapy, couples therapy and with federal inmates on their transition back into the community. She has worked with children, adolescents, families, couples and adults. She is an approved supervisor and has experience helping interns and post-grad pre-licensed clinicians learn how to be a great therapist in their own unique way. Tammy uses a variety of treatment techniques including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical- Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Strength-Based, Person-Centered, Nutritional-Based and Reality-Based therapies. She believes that exercise and nutrition go hand-in-hand with mental health. Tammy loves to give homework between sessions to keep the client focused on goals and hold accountability for growth. When Tammy is outside the office, she enjoys spending time with family and her 3 dogs, skiing, hiking, at the lake or beach, or reading a good book. Tammy specializes in working with couples, substance abuse individuals, dual diagnoses, individuals with anxiety, depression, bipolar, and nutritional-goal-oriented individuals.
