About Bina Zaidi (She/Her)

At LifeStance Health, Bina Zaidi helps teens, adults, and older adults throughout New York navigate life’s challenges with compassion, insight, and evidence-based care. She works collaboratively with patients who are seeking support for anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, creating a treatment experience that is both personalized and goal-oriented. Bina provides therapy for adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors, helping individuals develop practical skills, improve emotional well-being, and build resilience in the face of stress, change, and adversity. Bina is particularly passionate about helping people heal from trauma, manage anxiety, and find relief from depression. She understands that emotional struggles can affect every aspect of life, from relationships and work performance to physical health and self-confidence. Using a strengths-based and culturally responsive approach, she helps patients identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck while developing healthier ways to cope, grow, and move forward. Her therapeutic style combines clinical expertise with genuine empathy. Bina utilizes evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In addition to individual therapy, she offers couples, family, and group therapy services. With expertise across a broad range of concerns, including additional mental health and life transition challenges, she tailors treatment to meet the unique needs of each patient. Bina values creating a safe, respectful environment where patients feel heard and empowered. She works with individuals from diverse backgrounds and is able to provide care in Hindi and Urdu, helping patients communicate comfortably in the language that best supports their therapeutic journey. Outside of her clinical work, Bina enjoys walking, practicing mindfulness, and teaching. These interests reflect her commitment to lifelong learning, personal growth, and overall wellness, perspectives that also enrich her therapeutic approach.
