Teresa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York with over thirty years of experience. She has been with LifeStance Health since 2020. Teresa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Manhattanville University and a Master’s in Social Work from the Silver School of Social Work at New York University.

She is an active member of LifeStance’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and has completed a Certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Cornell University, as well as a Certificate in Integrated Care from the University of Michigan.

Teresa believes in patient-centered care and in “starting where the client is.” She draws from a range of modalities including psychodynamic psychotherapy, psychodrama, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). She also incorporates popular culture and film into therapy to help clients engage more deeply in the therapeutic process.

Her clinical interests include supporting women facing infertility and other complex medical issues, helping clients cope with chronic illness, and working with individuals impacted by a partner or family member’s substance use. Teresa also provides care coordination and collaborates with other providers to ensure each client receives comprehensive, whole-person care.

In her spare time, Teresa enjoys cooking, reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family.
