Marion Wilcher, LPCC
Specializes In:
Marion Wilcher helps adults and older adults across Ohio navigate emotional challenges, relationship concerns, and life transitions with compassionate, individualized mental health care at LifeStance Health. She provides individual and couples therapy for concerns including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, grief, and midlife or later-life transitions. Marion creates a therapeutic space where clients feel supported, respected, and empowered to build healthier relationships with themselves and others while developing practical tools for long-term emotional wellness.
Marion is especially passionate about supporting individuals who have recently been discharged from a psychiatric hospital and are working to regain stability and confidence in their daily lives. She understands that the transition from inpatient care back into everyday routines can feel overwhelming and isolating. Her approach focuses on helping clients process their experiences, strengthen coping strategies, and create meaningful steps toward recovery, emotional balance, and renewed purpose.
Her therapeutic style combines evidence-based care with empathy, mindfulness, and whole-person healing. Marion utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and additional therapeutic interventions tailored to each client’s unique needs. For those who desire it, she also incorporates Christian counseling and faith-based treatment into the therapy process. Marion has experience supporting military veterans, first responders, men, women, and individuals navigating relationship stress, psychosis, ADHD, and major life changes.
Since beginning her clinical practice in 2016, Marion has remained committed to helping clients build resilience, improve emotional insight, and strengthen their ability to manage life’s challenges with confidence and clarity. She earned her education from Northern Illinois University and Central Christian College of the Bible.
Outside of her clinical work, Marion enjoys Tai Chi, Qigong, long walks, reading, caring for plants, traveling, prayer, community service, and spending time with family and loved ones. Her personal commitment to faith, wellness, and connection informs the compassionate presence she brings into her work with clients.
