Kevin Jones, LCSW, PhD
Kevin Jones helps teens, adults, and older adults build practical skills, emotional insight, and resilience so they can navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence. Serving patients across Oregon, he provides therapy that is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care. Kevin works with individuals and couples who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, and he focuses on helping clients move toward meaningful, sustainable change. Kevin’s clinical work most often centers on anxiety, depression, and ADHD, while also addressing complex life transitions, relationship concerns, and stress related to health or aging. He has a particular interest in supporting clients through periods of adjustment—such as midlife changes, later life transitions, grief, or shifting family roles—where emotional strain and uncertainty can take hold. His approach balances compassion with structure, helping clients understand patterns that keep them stuck while building tools to move forward. He offers individual therapy and couples therapy, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, and couples counseling interventions. Kevin also works with additional concerns beyond these areas when clinically appropriate. He has experience supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community, military and veteran populations, and individuals with adoption or foster care backgrounds, creating a respectful and affirming space for diverse lived experiences.
Outside of clinical work, Kevin enjoys reading and writing, experimenting in the kitchen, and spending time outdoors hiking and camping. He also values travel as a way to stay curious and connected to the broader world.
