Jocelyn Malave helps adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults develop clarity, resilience, and practical tools to navigate emotional and behavioral challenges. She provides individual and family therapy through LifeStance Health for patients across Rhode Island, supporting clients as they work toward meaningful change, improved relationships, and greater emotional balance. Jocelyn treats adolescents and teens as well as adults across the lifespan, with clinical experience addressing anxiety, ADHD, and depression. Her work is grounded in understanding how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact, and she tailors care to each client’s goals and stage of life. She also supports select populations including individuals on the autism spectrum, those recovering from head injuries, and members of the LGBTQ+ community, while offering additional areas of focus as part of comprehensive care. Jocelyn is especially passionate about helping individuals who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, persistent self-doubt, or difficulty with focus and emotional regulation. She works closely with teens and adults to build insight, strengthen coping strategies, and increase psychological flexibility, helping clients move toward lives guided by their values rather than by fear or avoidance. This focus allows her to support sustainable progress both individually and within family systems. Her therapeutic approach incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based interventions, and family therapy when appropriate. Jocelyn emphasizes collaboration and self-compassion, creating a space where clients feel understood while learning skills that support long-term mental wellness. Outside of therapy, Jocelyn enjoys staying active through dancing, yoga, and weightlifting. She values growth and curiosity, whether tending to her garden, caring for her cats, or exploring new ideas through reading. She brings this same sense of care and curiosity into her clinical work. Jocelyn completed her education at Roger Williams University and the University of Rhode Island and has been practicing since 2022.
