About Mia Farley (She/Her)
At LifeStance Health, Mia Farley helps adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults develop practical strategies for managing life’s challenges while building greater emotional resilience and overall well-being. Serving patients throughout Rhode Island, she provides compassionate, person-centered therapy tailored to each individual’s unique experiences, goals, and strengths. Mia works with individuals facing anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also supporting clients with a variety of other mental health concerns. Through individual and group therapy, she creates a collaborative therapeutic environment where clients can safely explore challenges, strengthen coping skills, and make meaningful progress. Her approach emphasizes understanding the whole person, recognizing that emotional health is deeply connected to relationships, life experiences, and personal values. She has a particular interest in helping clients navigate major life transitions and periods of change. Whether someone is adjusting to adulthood, managing shifting family dynamics, coping with later-life transitions, or overcoming obstacles related to school avoidance, Mia is passionate about helping clients move forward with confidence and purpose. She also works with adolescents and teens experiencing behavioral and emotional concerns, helping them develop healthy skills for long-term success. Mia incorporates evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness techniques. She also has experience supporting individuals within the autism spectrum community and offers additional therapeutic approaches based on each client’s needs and treatment goals. Her educational background includes studies at Salve Regina University and the University at Albany, SUNY, where she developed the clinical foundation that supports her thoughtful and personalized approach to care. Outside of her professional work, Mia enjoys running, painting, pottery, swimming, reading, watching movies, and spending time by the ocean. These interests reflect her appreciation for creativity, balance, and personal growth, values she brings into her therapeutic work with clients.
