About Amanda Stevens (She/Her)
Amanda Stevens is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor candidate in Rhode Island who has been practicing since 2023. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University online in 2021. She continued attending SNHU online for her Master’s where she graduated in 2023. Amanda has always had a passion for mental health and has worked in the childcare field for 13 years. This includes working in special education, foster care and working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Amanda takes her experience and knowledge to challenge and push her clients to be the best they could be. Amanda offers a different outlook on life. Realizing the mind and body are two different things but work together as one and trying to create that bridge between the two. She offers different views on how things may be and keep an open mind for all different scenarios. In her free time, Amanda enjoys boxing, working out, hiking, being with her two pups, trying new restaurants, going to New Hampshire, and traveling.
