About Gabriella Valente (She/Her)

Gabriella Valente helps children, adolescents, teens, and young adults build the skills and confidence needed to navigate emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. At LifeStance Health, she provides individual, family, and group therapy for patients throughout Rhode Island, creating a supportive space where young people and their families can feel understood while working toward meaningful growth. Gabriella is committed to helping clients strengthen resilience, improve relationships, and develop healthy coping strategies for everyday life. Her clinical work focuses on concerns such as anxiety, ADHD, and depression, while also supporting individuals facing a variety of additional mental health and behavioral challenges. Gabriella takes a collaborative, strengths-based approach that recognizes each client’s unique experiences, abilities, and goals. Whether a child is struggling at school, a teen is facing emotional difficulties, or a young adult is navigating a major life transition, she works to help clients feel empowered and capable of positive change. Gabriella is especially passionate about supporting children and adolescents experiencing childhood behavior issues, school avoidance, and trauma-related concerns. She understands the significant impact these challenges can have on academic success, family relationships, self-esteem, and overall well-being. Through compassionate, developmentally appropriate care, she helps young people identify obstacles, build emotional regulation skills, and regain a sense of confidence and stability both at home and in school. Her therapeutic style incorporates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques. She also integrates family-focused strategies when appropriate, recognizing the important role caregivers play in supporting a child’s emotional and behavioral growth. In addition to her primary areas of focus, Gabriella provides treatment for a range of other mental health concerns. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Gabriella received her education at Rhode Island College. She combines clinical knowledge with warmth, patience, and genuine curiosity about each client’s story, helping individuals and families work toward lasting progress. Outside of her professional work, Gabriella enjoys reading, writing, completing puzzles, coloring, and listening to music. These interests reflect her appreciation for creativity, learning, self-expression, and personal well-being. Individuals and families across Rhode Island seeking therapy for anxiety, ADHD, depression, childhood behavioral concerns, school avoidance, trauma, and related mental health challenges will find thoughtful, evidence-based support in Gabriella’s care. She is dedicated to helping children, teens, and young adults thrive at every stage of development.
