Laura Tuscani is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Rhode Island who started practicing in 2013. Laura has a range of experiences that have given her the skills that are necessary to work with families, youths, children, and individuals. She is experienced working with individuals suffering from depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, PTSD, ADHD, Trauma, crisis/safety/stabilization, dual diagnosis, domestic violence, school issues, sleep/insomnia, career counseling, grief, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and other issues.

Laura is constantly seeking opportunities to develop her skills to create a safe, comfortable, and supportive therapeutic environment where each person is met where they are at, felt seen and heard, while integrating modalities that will best support the patient’s needs. Her passion is helping to build self-awareness and self-empowerment, to improve the person’s relationship within themselves and with others. Laura has an assortment of interventions and therapy techniques to match the style of her patients.

In her spare time, Laura enjoys spending time with family/friends, reading, art, volunteering, and caring for animals. She enjoys going on long walks and what she calls “window wishing” when she feels like shopping too much.
