Rachel Bailey-Moore, M.ED, LMHC,
About Rachel Bailey-Moore (She/Her)
Rachel Bailey-Moore helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion, practical guidance, and evidence-based mental health care. Through LifeStance Health, she serves patients throughout Rhode Island, providing individual and family therapy for those seeking support with concerns such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Rachel creates a welcoming environment where clients can feel understood, build confidence, and develop the skills needed to thrive in everyday life. Rachel believes that meaningful progress begins with a strong therapeutic relationship. She works collaboratively with clients and families to better understand behavioral, emotional, and interpersonal challenges while identifying strengths that can support growth and healing. Her approach is tailored to each person’s unique needs and may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based strategies. In addition to these areas of expertise, she offers support for a variety of other mental health concerns and life transitions. One of Rachel’s greatest professional passions is supporting individuals and families affected by childhood behavior issues, school avoidance, and gender identity concerns. She understands that these experiences can impact academic success, family relationships, self-esteem, and emotional well-being. By working closely with children, teens, and caregivers, she helps families develop healthier communication patterns, strengthen connections, and create supportive environments that foster resilience and personal growth. Rachel also has experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and recognizes the importance of personalized care that honors each person’s strengths, challenges, and goals. Whether helping a child build emotional regulation skills, supporting a teen through developmental changes, or assisting an adult facing a major life transition, she approaches treatment with empathy, curiosity, and clinical expertise. Outside of her clinical practice, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, rollerblading, fitness activities, swimming, travel, farming, and visiting the zoo with her children. She also has an interest in communication, exploring water destinations, and enjoying a good scary movie. Rachel earned her education from the University of Rhode Island and Saint Bonaventure University. Through LifeStance Health, she is honored to support children, adolescents, teens, adults, and seniors across Rhode Island with high-quality mental health counseling and family therapy services.
