Michelle Reynolds, Therapist

Michelle Reynolds, LCSW

Michelle Reynolds helps children, adolescents, teens, and adults throughout Utah navigate life’s emotional and behavioral challenges with compassion, structure, and evidence-based care. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at LifeStance Health, she provides individual, group, and family therapy for patients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related concerns, and other mental health difficulties that can affect relationships, school performance, work, and daily functioning. Michelle is especially passionate about supporting individuals facing anxiety, childhood behavior issues, and PTSD/trauma. She understands how overwhelming emotional distress can feel for both patients and families, and she works collaboratively to create practical, achievable goals that foster resilience and long-term growth. Her approach is warm, supportive, and grounded in evidence-based mental health treatment designed to help patients develop healthier coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and build confidence in their everyday lives. Using interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and family therapy techniques, Michelle tailors treatment to each person’s unique needs and experiences. She has experience supporting children and teens struggling with school avoidance, behavioral concerns, mood changes, and attention difficulties, as well as adults navigating grief, bipolar disorder, midlife transitions, and sleep-related concerns. She also works with individuals and families within the adoption/foster care and autism spectrum disorder communities, while offering additional support for a variety of mental health concerns. Michelle began practicing in 2022 and earned her education through the University of Utah. She believes meaningful therapy starts with creating a safe and respectful environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout the healing process. Outside of her clinical work, Michelle enjoys spending time with family and friends and values the meaningful connections that help support emotional wellness and balance in everyday life.
