Kimberly Cantonwine is a LMHC Graduated Western Seminary MA Counseling 2013 Kim’s focus has been on bipolar, depression and anxiety with work in both residential and the hospital setting treating psychosis. Kim believes focusing on the development of a proper assessment to identify the needs of the client necessary to determine what approach will be the most effective. Usually it begin with CBT to identify thinking challenges and patterns of thought that have been developed. DBT will often be used to help the distress that comes up as one is making their way through the therapy process. Motivational Interviewing can be added to assist the client as they move through the process of change. Kim will incorporate other theories if it is to the benefit of the client In her spare time Kim enjoys hiking, walking, working out. Volunteering with the homeless and attending concerts.
