About Ginger Rivera (She/Her)

Ginger Rivera helps teens, adults, and older adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion, practical guidance, and evidence-based therapy. At LifeStance Health, she provides individual therapy for patients across Colorado, supporting those who are working through anxiety, depression, trauma, and significant life transitions. Ginger is committed to creating a welcoming, collaborative environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes. A key area of Ginger’s practice is supporting individuals facing women’s issues and medical transitions related to chronic illness. She understands the emotional, physical, and life-changing impact that chronic health conditions and medical challenges can have on daily functioning, relationships, self-image, and overall well-being. Ginger is passionate about helping patients develop effective coping strategies, build resilience, and move forward with greater confidence as they navigate these complex experiences. In addition to her work with chronic illness and medical transitions, Ginger has experience helping patients manage anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns. She works with teens, adults, and seniors and tailors treatment to each person’s unique goals and circumstances. Her therapeutic style balances empathy with practical skill-building to help patients achieve lasting progress and improved emotional health. Ginger utilizes evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She may also incorporate additional therapeutic interventions to support each patient’s needs. Her approach focuses on helping individuals better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing effective tools for managing stress and overcoming obstacles. She earned her education through Front Range Community College, Metropolitan State University of Denver, and the University of Denver. Since beginning her clinical practice, Ginger has remained dedicated to providing thoughtful, person-centered mental health care. Outside of work, Ginger enjoys skydiving, hiking, camping, traveling, quilting, and cooking. These interests reflect her appreciation for adventure, creativity, connection, and lifelong learning. Through LifeStance Health, Ginger provides virtual therapy services for patients throughout Colorado. Whether someone is seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic illness, or life transitions, she is committed to helping them build a path toward greater wellness and balance.
