Elizabeth Avalos, ALMFT is a compassionate therapist who works with children, teens, adults, couples, and families navigating emotional and relational challenges. If you’re dealing with anxiety, family conflict, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, you’re not alone and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.

Elizabeth creates a warm, grounded, and collaborative space where clients can feel safe to open up, make sense of what they’re going through, and begin to move forward in a way that feels manageable and meaningful.

She has a special interest in supporting clients facing complex behavioral or relational concerns. This might look like helping a child struggling with school or behavior challenges, or working with couples and families experiencing conflict, disconnection, or major life transitions. Elizabeth focuses on understanding the bigger picture how relationships, environments, and past experiences shape current patterns.

Her approach is centered on safety, connection, and practical growth. She works at a pace that feels right for each client while helping them build tools to better regulate emotions, communicate more effectively, and strengthen their relationships in everyday life.

Elizabeth integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and couples and family therapy, along with mindfulness and parenting strategies. She has experience supporting LGBTQ+ clients, individuals from adoption or foster care backgrounds, and first responders. She also works with concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma.

She believes therapy is most effective when clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. Her goal is to help individuals and families gain clarity, build confidence, and create healthier, more fulfilling connections.

Liz Avalos provides services with supervision.
