About Gretchyn Duval (She/Her)
Gretchyn Duval helps teens and adults of all ages across Oregon navigate emotional challenges and life transitions with compassionate, client-centered mental health care. As a trauma-informed therapist, Gretchyn creates a supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to work toward meaningful change. Her clinical work includes helping individuals manage anxiety and depression, navigate challenging life changes and events with a special interest in clients who have experienced concussion or traumatic brain injury. Gretchyn incorporates multiple evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop healthier thought patterns, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen coping strategies.
Naturally transparent and candid, Gretchyn takes a collaborative and strength-based approach to therapy, helping clients better understand their experiences and identify practical steps toward healing and growth. She supports individuals navigating complex emotional concerns, relationship challenges, and major life transitions by combining clinical expertise with kindness, empathy, curiosity and a warm sense of humor.
Outside of her work as a therapist, Gretchyn enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, traveling, horseback riding, playing with her dogs, hiking, cooking, reading, and expressing her creativity through drawing and painting.
