I have seen two different types of providers and can say both exceeded my expectations. Whereas others have failed to listen to me because it did not fit in their standardized boxes, both providers at LifeStance gave me their full attention. They listened. And believed. They have been compassionate, resourceful, and affirming. I am so grateful. I only give four stars because dealing with LifeStance, the company, is obnoxious and confusing. The phone tree doesn't seem to know its head from its tail; each scheduler had a different set of standards they were aware of for the same exact type of appointment. If I hadn't spoken with a different scheduler the week prior, I would have missed a crucial amount of information. The online portal leaves a lot to be desired. I receive forms to fill out that have nothing to do with my reasons for interacting with LifeStance. The message portal only allows you to type as a solid paragraph -- no text formatting. The layout is not intuitive. It can take perseverance to push through these obstacles. But the providers are worth it.

So far so good!! It did take me a while to catch a therapist who took my insurance, and checked all my boxes, but all the people I ended up speaking with, in intake/scheduling over the course of all my calls were very kind, and helpful! Note that I have only JUST wrapped up my initial/intake session, barely even a couple hours ago (got a text, asking me for a review) but that being said, the therapist I was paired with is beyond lovely. She was very patient, reassuring, and understanding in the face of all my various anxieties. 😅 First impressions have me feeling extremely optimistic about continuing to work with her.

My experience was quite pleasant as far as booking goes. My scheduler was super friendly, helpful and took the time to find a provider who might best match my needs. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I’ve had to wait 3 months for my first appointment. That’s not the longest wait I’ve ever had but it’s not great either. It feels like forever when you’re really struggling. Other than that the booking experience was fantastic! Had my first appointment today and my therapist is just awesome! I’m looking forward to working with him

LifeStance was recommended to me from a friend. I found my first experience here to be great. The whole process was easy. They offer zoom or in person and I am super happy to have found this place. Need someone to talk to? Need to work some stuff out? Give this place a try. I wrote this a while back and I thought I would come back and add something else to this review. Life stance has been life-changing for me. I’ve tried several different places that just didn’t work for me and I’m so glad that I did not give up. 🧡💕🧡

I love working with Lifestance providers to manage my medication. They are virtual and easily accessible to my lifestyle. They listen and work with clients to figure out the best care plan. Only thing id say is a bit less accessible can be their portal. It doesn’t exactly always work (document uploads for ADA at work, etc) for contacting the provider vs front office or finding documents you’re trying to share back and forth. But the providers are big advocates and and will help every step if the way.

I am very happy with my experiences with both my counselor/art therapist and my MSW psychiatric nurse practitioner. Both are very professional, attentive, caring and helpful. I had given up on finding a counselor that I could work with that accepted Medicare until I found lifestance. I appreciate being able to go to a live session with both of them. The scheduling and payment has been easy.
