CBT For Depression Group in Oregon
This group is based on the evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Depression Group Manual developed at the University of California, San Francisco. The program provides structured, skills-based treatment for adults experiencing symptoms of depression.
Group Overview:
Over the course of the group, participants will:
- Learn how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact to maintain depression
- Practice identifying and challenging negative thinking patterns
- Use behavioral activation to increase rewarding and meaningful activities
- Build problem-solving strategies to manage life stressors
- Strengthen relapse-prevention skills to reduce risk of future depressive episodes
Participants: Adults 18+ with depression symptoms who are seeking a supportive, collaborative
environment to help them cope
Cost: Insurance and self-pay are accepted
When: Virtual sessions on Thursdays from 4 to 5 p.m., starting January 1 and ending March 1, 2026
