About Briana Seippel (She/Her)
Helping adults and older adults throughout Rhode Island navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, resilience, and connection, Briana Seippel provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy through LifeStance Health. She offers individual therapy and couples counseling for concerns such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also supporting clients experiencing a variety of additional mental health challenges. Briana is dedicated to creating a supportive, collaborative environment where clients can feel comfortable exploring their experiences, identifying strengths, and working toward meaningful change. Briana believes that therapy should honor the unique story, values, and goals of each individual. She works with clients who may be navigating stressful life transitions, relationship difficulties, grief, or emotional struggles that impact daily functioning. By fostering self-awareness and helping clients develop practical coping strategies, she supports them in building a greater sense of confidence, balance, and emotional well-being. Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based practices, Briana tailors treatment to each client’s needs. She has experience helping individuals manage ADHD, postpartum depression and anxiety, and grief while also addressing additional mental health concerns. Briana also works with adults on the autism spectrum, recognizing the importance of individualized care that respects each person’s strengths and experiences. In her work with couples, she helps partners improve communication, strengthen emotional connection, and navigate challenges together in healthier ways. Briana approaches therapy with warmth, authenticity, and curiosity. She believes meaningful healing occurs when clients feel understood and empowered to make choices that align with their values. Her goal is to help individuals and couples create lasting changes that support healthier relationships, personal growth, and improved quality of life. She earned her education from Johnson & Wales University and the University of Central Florida. Throughout her clinical work, Briana has remained committed to providing thoughtful, client-centered care that integrates clinical expertise with genuine compassion. Outside of the therapy office, Briana enjoys practicing yoga, kayaking, gardening, creating mixed media art, thrifting, reading, baking, and spending time in nature. These interests reflect her appreciation for creativity, mindfulness, and the restorative benefits of connecting with the natural world.
