Helping adolescents, teens, and adults throughout Rhode Island develop healthier coping skills and move through life’s challenges with greater confidence, Cody Orgettas provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy at LifeStance Health. He offers individual therapy for concerns such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also supporting clients with a variety of additional mental health needs. Cody believes that effective therapy begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, collaboration, and respect, allowing clients to feel supported as they pursue meaningful personal growth. Cody works with clients who may be struggling with overwhelming emotions, relationship difficulties, stress, or behavioral challenges. He understands that seeking therapy can feel vulnerable, and he strives to create a welcoming environment where individuals feel comfortable exploring their experiences and identifying practical solutions. His approach is tailored to each client’s unique strengths, goals, and circumstances, helping them build resilience and confidence both inside and outside of therapy sessions. Using evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure Therapy, Cody helps clients gain insight into unhelpful patterns, develop effective coping strategies, and make lasting changes. He has experience treating obsessive-compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, and childhood behavior concerns, while also supporting individuals with additional mental health challenges. Cody focuses on helping clients improve emotional regulation, strengthen self-awareness, and create healthier ways of responding to life’s demands. Whether working with adolescents navigating developmental challenges or adults facing personal and professional stressors, Cody takes a thoughtful and collaborative approach to treatment. He encourages clients to recognize their strengths while learning new skills that support long-term emotional wellness and recovery. Cody earned his education from Roger Williams University and Merrimack College. Since beginning his clinical practice in 2025, he has remained committed to providing high-quality mental health care that combines clinical expertise with genuine compassion and individualized attention. Outside of his work as a therapist, Cody enjoys surfing, going to the gym, and exploring music. These interests help him maintain balance and reflect his appreciation for physical wellness, creativity, and personal growth.
