About Amra Smith (She/Her)
Amra Smith helps adolescents, teens, and adults navigate life’s challenges with a compassionate, individualized approach to therapy. Serving patients throughout Utah through LifeStance Health, she works collaboratively with clients to build practical skills, deepen self-understanding, and create meaningful, lasting change. Amra provides individual therapy for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma, while supporting clients in developing greater resilience and emotional well-being. Amra is especially passionate about helping individuals who are exploring gender identity, managing eating disorders, or navigating significant life transitions. She understands that these experiences can be deeply personal and complex, and she strives to create a safe, affirming space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Her therapeutic approach focuses on helping people align their lives with their values while building confidence and self-acceptance. Working with adolescents, teens, and adults, Amra supports individuals from diverse backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals with autism spectrum disorders, and first responders. She utilizes evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She also offers additional therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. As a provisionally licensed clinician, Amra earned her education through Grand Canyon University and began practicing in 2025. She is committed to ongoing professional growth and to providing thoughtful, client-centered mental health care. Outside of her clinical work, Amra enjoys spending time outdoors and believes in the healing power of nature. Backpacking, skiing, and horseback riding are among her favorite activities. She also enjoys crocheting and playing guitar as creative outlets. At home, she shares her life with her two cats, Venus and Moon, who are enthusiastic supervisors of her various projects.
Amra Smith provides services with supervision.
