I’ve just completed my intake meeting with my counselor and am glad share that it was a positive experience. My counselor Holly S was receptive and patient and helped create a good environment for dialog. I’m looking forward to finally getting help with my anger and anxiety. The admin process with Life Stance should be reevaluated as it can make getting to the first session very slow. The process should allow parallel meetings with a medication counselor and a therapist. Instead it is just one at a time with 4-5 weeks to get each

I met with Joe Grossman online for our introductory visit together. I was nervous as it was my very first therapy session, but Joe immediately put me at ease with his personality and kind attentiveness. He focused on my issues and had kind, thoughtful and insightful responses with real solutions for me and my circumstances. By the end of the session I truly felt as if I was in good hands and had some helpful direction to becoming more healthy and in control of my situation.

Lifestance is one of those organizations you come across every once in a while that simply works. Had a little difficulty with the link to enter the waiting room. Megan Cook was very knowledgeable and I think that I will be able to work with her. She has referred me to a psych nurse practitioner to review my medication. I appreciated the suggestion and think it will help. I look forward to seeing Megan again.
