I was initially nervous and reluctant about transitioning to a new psychiatrist after my longtime psychiatrist, Dr. Kannegenti, retired. However, my experience with Dr. Matthew has been exceptional. From the beginning, Dr. Matthew and staff has been professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, and attentive. I was especially impressed that he took the time to thoroughly review my medical history and chart before my appointment. He was familiar with my previous treatment and was able to pick up where Dr. Kannegenti left off, which made me feel heard, respected, and reassured. It has been surprisingly easy for me to open up and communicate with him. The transition has been much smoother than I anticipated, and I am truly grateful and thankful to have Dr. Matthew as my new psychiatrist. His preparation, professionalism, and genuine approach to patient care have made a meaningful difference in my experience.

Today was my first appointment with Dr. Nichelle Osborne at LifeStance, and I was extremely impressed. Although my visit focused on medication management and emotional wellness, Dr. Osborne provided much more than that. She made me feel comfortable from the very beginning and took the time to truly listen and understand my concerns. By the end of the intake appointment, I felt like I had known her for years. She is both a listener and a hearer—compassionate, professional, and genuinely invested in her patients. While I am just beginning my mental wellness journey and still waiting to see the long-term results of treatment, my first experience was outstanding. I left feeling hopeful, supported, and confident that I am in good hands. I look forward to continuing my care with Dr. Osborne and LifeStance.

My provider Ms. N. Osborne has been a Godsend. She listens, asks deep questions, wants to know about your life, family history. Best in depth appointment that I’ve had in comparison to other providers who asks these questions on paper but don’t follow up personally. I gave a rundown on what I’ve tried in the past and how important it is for me to not experience daytime tiredness because I have Fibromyalgia and already struggle. She listened, warned me of what my first 2 weeks would feel like and when I experienced an issue. Her response time was fast on their portal. Most new providers don’t listen but I found her to have an old school soul in a younger woman’s body. She listens, and may even follow your suggestions. How often do you find that?

I’m grateful to have been referred to this therapy practice. From the beginning, I felt welcomed and supported. My therapist has provided me with a safe space to be open, honest, and vulnerable without feeling judged. I was so hesitant about getting help for what I was dealing with as a first responder and health care provider, trust is hard to build and it is hard to open up to getting help for yourself. I had my first appointment with Nichelle Osborne yesterday and she made me feel so comfortable. Her energy is great. She took notes and you could tell she was taking into account what I was saying and the ideas that I had about what was going on with me. I only gave 4 stars because this was the first visit. I’m sure 5 stars is in the future the more I visit with her.

I absolutely love my provider, Beatrice. She is so supportive and always asks questions about what’s going on in my life and genuinely cares. I’ve been in BH for the majority of my life and seen many providers, and Beatrice, by far, has been the best fit for me overall. Been seeing her for over 10 years now, and even though I’ve moved two hours away, don’t plan on leaving her!!
